New Orleans vs Golden State on 11/05 by dbm0103

Handicapper Analysis 0
New Orleans is the worst team of the Western Conference and the league with 1-8 record, including total losses in the last five games, and still counting! Whereas the Warriors are 4-1 in their last 5 games, losing only to Memphis by just 3 points, and are second place in the league with a 6-1 record. Anyone can see the abysmal difference between the two teams.

Then we need to consider the major injury that has been haunting the Pelicans: Brandon Ingram (25.0ppg, 4.8 ASST and 7.3 REB) is listed as questionable (hip contusion) for this game against the Warriors. This is their best player and without Ingram the Pelicans are not contenders against the more solid team play from Golden State.

While -9 is a large gap to cover, the recent results on both teams, the lack of scoring efficiency and defensive faults from New Orleans, and the playing capabilities from Gold State players (Curry, Poole, Wiggins, Lee), plus they playing at home, the Warriors are no doubt the team to pick.
